Professional Information
Hi, my name is Avinash Tripathi. I reside in New Delhi, India currently employed full time with hCentive as a User Experience Lead. I started out as a web designer in 2000 and evolved into a UI Designer with time and now I'm into Usability and User Experience although design still remains my first love and passion. I am mostly involved in Use Cases, Persona Building, Visual Design, interaction and Prototyping. I am usually juggling between 2-3 projects wherein one I might be designing and other I might be doing a heuristic evaluation. Yes you got it right, I am a "Restless Soul". Design for me is a "sense of complete satisfaction" when something really creative comes out closer to user needs and appreciated by the design community. My second love is Photoshop (I got married to my first love :D) which I also believe is my playground as well as a stress buster where I'm completely with my self.
When I'm not working I am mostly into sports like Table Tennis or Cricket. I love spending time at home on holidays with my mom, dad, wife Simrat, my brother Ravish, my daughter Akshita and my pet Boris(Labrador) who is simply on his moves all the time.
